Advantages of digital radio transmission:
- wide range: up to 200 m in open space due to data compression and transmission as MJPEG several times per second
- audio and video signals of high quality
- interference-free video image: the optimal frequencies within the 2.4 GHz range are selected automatically
- tapping protection: The signals are transmitted on constantly changing frequencies (frequency hopping) which are synchronised between the camera and the receiver. Only the receiver which has been "paired" with the transmitter can receive the synchronised signal.
Important notes:
The transmitter DF-100 TX is connected to a video camera with a video output signal. This is ideal a). if part of the monitoring range has to be wired (e. g. through walls) in order to guarantee radio reception or b). if special camera types are necessary (e. g. with a different shape, illumination, light sensitivity or lens).
The signal of each transmitter / camera can only be received by one receiver / monitor. Due to digitally coded transmission technology no additional receiver / monitor can be used.
Up to 4 transmitters / cameras can be received per receiver / monitor.
